Why doesn't ZowieBox support decoding NDI sources from VLC, NDI, OBS, etc.?

Currently, when VLC, NDI, OBS and other software do NDI encoding, the encoding format is mostly NDI|HB or Full NDI, ZowieBox does not support NDI|HB and Full NDI decoding as the specification, if you need to decode these NDI sources, please use the Bridge tool of NDI Tools to convert the NDI source to HX and then decode it.

How to switch output resolution in decoder mode

1.Log in to the ZowieBox web console, click Setting->Streaming->Decoder, and make sure that no streams are decoded. The output format cannot be switched during decoding.

2.Click Setting->Video->Output, make sure Loopout is turned off and select the required output format and click Save.

Suggestion for different lens working distance

Different models of lenses require different working distances at different zoom ratios, otherwise it may lead to focusing failure, focus breathing and other phenomena.

How to calibrate M12 lens AF model

AF mode camera is fine tuned focus at 1 meter object distance at factory. If you install a new M12 lens for the first time, you need to focus manually and then calibrate it.

1) Log in to the ZowieCAM web page

2)Click 'Setting->Camera->Image->Start Calibration ,then manually twist the focus ring until it is completely sharp.

3)Then click 'End Calibration'on the web page.

Upgrade Troubleshooting

Please make sure that you do not use mDNS to log in to the webpage during the upgrade process. To ensure stability during the upgrade process, the mDNS function will be turned off after the upgrade is detected, resulting in upgrade failure.
When using a USB flash drive or TF card for upgrade, please make sure that the format of the USB flash drive and TF card used is FAT32 or exFAT, otherwise the device may not detect the USB flash drive and cause the upgrade failure.
If the upgrade process is stuck between 40% and 100% for more than 10 minutes, please try to unplug the power and restart the device, change the browser to upgrade again or use USB to upgrade. The USB upgrade method is as follows: https://www.zowietek.com/knowledge-base/how-to-upgrade-with-usb/
If the webpage background cannot obtain data after the upgrade, please try to restart the device or restore the device to factory settings.
If the device repeatedly restarts after the upgrade fails and the upgrade using a USB flash drive still fails, please contact after-sales.

How to troubleshoot when ZowieBox cannot decode NDI

If the decoded NDI source shows no video

(1) Please use official NDI software, such as NDI monitor, to check whether the NDI source can be decoded normally.

(2) Please check whether the IP address displayed by the NDI source is in the same network segment as the IP address of ZowieBox.
