How to record video in 4K resolution?

If the user needs to record 4k video, please first make sure the input resolution is 4k30/25/24.

When the input resolution is 4k60/50/59.94, the device will process it as a 1080p signal source and cannot record 4k resolution.

Step 1: Please confirm the current resolution

Click the center button of the remote control to check the HDMI resolution

Or click the Menu button on the remoter to enter the main menu and select the Video input option.

Confirm that the current input resolution is 3840×2160.

If the input resolution is 4k60/50/59.94, the device will display 4k->1080p60, which means that the device treats the signal source as 1080p and cannot record 4k video.

Step 2: Select the recording resolution as 4k.

Click the Menu on the remoter to enter the main menu and select the recording settings.

Confirm that the recording resolution is 3840×2160 or Auto (when Auto is selected, the recording resolution will follow the input resolution).

Tips:

  1. If you cannot input 4k60 when recording games, try to enter the video input option and set the maximum resolution to Auto.
  2. If the recording resolution option is only 1440×1080, please enter the video input option to turn off CVBS.
