How to upgrade Zowietek products?

Method 1: Upgrade using the web page

1. Log in to the web control interface and click Setting->System->Upgrade.
2. Choose upgrade file to upload the correct firmware file.
3. Click the Upgrade button to start the upgrade. Do not perform any operations during the upgrade process and ensure the stability of the power supply and network.
4. The upgrade process will take several minutes, please wait patiently

Tip: Do not use mDNS to log in to the web page and upgrade. To ensure the stability of the upgrade process, the mDNS function will be automatically turned off after the upgrade request is detected, resulting in the failure of uploading the firmware.

Method 2：Upgrade with USB

Applicable equipment: ZowiePTZ, ZowieBox, MediDVR.

Please make sure that the original version is 1.0.0.6 or later, otherwise using a USB flash drive to upgrade will not be supported.

Please make sure the USB drive is formatted as exFAT or FAT32, otherwise the device may not detect the USB drive.

1. Please download upgrade compressed package and unzip it.
2. After decompression, two files will appear. Please copy these two files to the root directory of the USB flash driver. Please place them in the root directory of the USB as shown in the attached photo. If the files are missing or placed in a folder , which may cause the upgrade to fail.

3. First power off the device, unplug all the connecting cables, then insert the USB flash drive first, and then plug in the power cable.
4.  Wait for a moment, the device will automatically upgrade. During this period, it may restart several times and take a few minutes.
