How to set up ZowiePTZ to connect with my equipments?

1. Connect network
   Connectthe ZowiePTZ to a network with router or DHCP capability using a network cable.

2. Connect power supply
(1)DC
After the DC power adapter supplies power to the ZowiePTZ, the status indicator will lightup.

(2)PoE
The ZowiePTZ can also be powered over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) without a power adapter. If powered by PoE, a network cable must be connected to a PoE network switch with at least CAT5e cable.

3. Login the web console ZowiePTZ provides five quick ways to login to the web control interface

(1) IP Address

The DHCP of ZowiePTZ is on by default, Please connect the HDMl/SDl output to the monitor.the IP address will be automatically displayed in the upper left corner for five seconds afterZowiePTZ is turned on; or click the MENU button on the remote to call up the OSD menu tocheck thelP address. Enter the iP address in the browser ofthe cell phone or computer in thesameLAN tologin the web control interface.

(2)Login ZowiePTZ by mDNS Please enter http://zowieptz-xxxxxx.local in your computer or cell phone browser.

(3)Login ZowiePTZ by Hotspot

You can connect to ZowiePTZ directly without the need of a network cable or WiFi network. Connect your mobile device to the hotspot of ZowiePTZ, and it is on by default. The initial password and name of the hotspot are on the back of ZowiePTZ. After connecting to the hotspot, enter http://170.128.88.1 in the browser to log into the wbe console, when connecting to the hotspot, your cell phone may indicate that there is no network, this is normal, please continue to connect.

(4) Login ZowiePTZ by the device discover

If you already have ZowiePTZ or ZowieBox, you can also log in to the new ZowiePTZ by the device discover , logining to the web control page and, click “Settings->Dashboard” to use the discovery feature. After clicking”scan”, find the serial number of the device that matchesthe one on the new ZowiePTZ label and click it to the web control of the device.

(4) Login ZowiePTZ by ZowieX
Download and install ZowieX, and you can search for all Zowietek series devices in the same LAN.Users can quickly log into the ZowiePTZ web console, or use ZowieX to manage, record, and upgrade multiple ZowiePTZ.

(5)Fail safe lP
When the connected network does not have DHCP function or when ZowiePTZ is directly connected to the computer via a network cable, or other unknown errors occur, the IP of ZowiePTZ will change to afailsafeIP (192.168.5.168). Please add 192.168.5.x network segment to your computer to log in the web control interface. For detailed configuration, please refer to the user manual.

6) Control device by mobile phoneIf users need to use their cell phone to login the web control interface after logining the webcontrol interface on the computer side, there are two ways.
(1) Please make sure your cell phone is in the same LAN as ZowiePTZ, and then scan the first OR code to login the web control interface of cell phone.

(2) Click the hotspot icon and scan the QR code that appears to connect to the hotspot. Then scan the first OR code to log in the web control interface of your cell phone.
