Troubleshooting for audio and video asynchrony in video recording

Case 1:

For ZowieREC/ZowieBox, please check the frame rate of the input signal source first.

For firmware 1.1.0.7 and earlier, when the input frame rate is a decimal point (59.94/29.97), the audio and video gap will become larger and larger as the recording time increases. Please try to change the input frame rate to an integer (60/50/30/25)

Case 2:

If the signal source is a computer signal source, please first confirm whether this problem is a general phenomenon or only applies to a specific computer with audio and video asynchrony.

When the graphics card performance is insufficient, the computer cannot send enough audio information, resulting in audio and video asynchrony in video recording

  1. Please update the computer’s graphics driver to the latest version and open Intel Graphics Software
  1. Select the display and change the color format of ZowieBox to RGB

Case 3:

When using ZowiePTZ/ZowieCam to record, please make sure that the encoding resolution and frame rate are lower than 4k30. When the recording resolution is 4k30, the audio and video will be asynchrony due to performance limitations.
