How to use the UVC function of DJI

Pocket 3 as a webcam

The UVC (USB Video Class) function on the OP3 allows you to convert its output to HDMI, which can be connected to devices such as the ATEM switcher for seamless live streaming or video production. This feature is particularly useful for broadcasting, video recording, and other professional applications that require high-quality video input.

Preparation Before Use:According to DJI’s official recommendations, more heat will be generated when charging using the UVC function. It is recommended to use this function when the device is fully charged and keep it ventilated.

It is recommended to use versions later than 1.1.0.1.

  1. Please log in to the web console of the ZowieBox.
  2. Click Setting->System->Working Mode,confirm that the USB mode is host mode
  1. Switch the working mode to decoder mode
  1. It is recommended to use the USB to type C cable that comes with Pocket3 to connect Pocket3 to the ZowieBox.
  2. After the connection is complete, pocket3 will prompt to enter webcam mode.
  1. On the ZowieBox interface, click Setting->Decoding->UVC, set the resolution and frame rate to be decoded, and click the button on the left to start decoding.

Tip: Pocket3’s 264 format is not currently supported.
