The LiveV400 does all the heavy lifting of encoding and streaming your video, so it will be warm to the touch. But it has a built-in fan to dissipate heat. If you think the fan is too noisy, you can turn off the fan.

Note: In the silent fan mode, the encoder will stop charging the battery.
